Butler Snow is pleased to announce that attorney Mary T. Henderson was recently elected to serve as President-Elect of the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Austin Chapter, having previously served as Secretary. Mary was also elected to the Austin Bar Association’s Board of Directors as a new board member.
ABOTA is an invitation-only organization dedicated to upholding the rule of law and the Seventh Amendment. The Austin Chapter regularly hosts continuing legal education events throughout the year, recognizing civility and professionalism at an annual holiday dinner. Additionally, the chapter actively participates in broader national and statewide initiatives.
The Austin Bar Association’s Board of Directors guides the local legal community, governing the association’s CLE programs, pro bono initiatives, and member services. Founded in 1893, its mission is to enhance the legal profession, administration of justice, and the community through education, networking, and public service.
Mary Henderson is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group. She is board-certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a certified mediator and possesses many years of experience representing state agencies, individuals, corporations, and the public interest in state and federal courts across Texas.
