Butler Snow Attorney Davis Frye Honored for Volunteer Efforts

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Davis Frye was honored and recognized for his outstanding community volunteer work at the Goodwill Salute Dinner on Thursday, August 17, 2023. The dinner was held at the Country Club of Jackson for the honorees and celebrated their efforts to improve the lives of others.

Davis is a member of the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church, where he has served as senior warden, vestry member, co-chair of the capital campaign for the construction of a new sanctuary, co-chair of Day in the Country, usher, and a youth and adult Sunday school teacher. He is currently on the Board of the One Hundred Club and YoungLife Inner City Jackson. Davis is also a past volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, past president of the Jackson Zoological Society, and a former member of the Jackson Prep Alumni Counsel.

Frye is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation & Specialized Litigation practice group. For his work, Frye previously has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® (multiple categories, including “Commercial Litigation”), Super Lawyers® and the Mississippi Business Journal (Mississippi’s Top 40 Under 40, 2007).

Frye is a member of many professional organizations, including, among others, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Capital Area Bar Association. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Millsaps College before earning his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.
