Butler Snow attorney Arthur D. Spratlin, Jr., recently spoke at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Annual Conference, on March 25–27, 2026, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The CLM Annual Conference is the organization’s flagship event, bringing together claims professionals, in‑house counsel, insurers, and defense attorneys from across the country to discuss emerging trends and best practices in claims and litigation management.
Spratlin’s presentation, “CDL Drivers and the Standard of Care: Debunking a Common Plaintiff Argument,” reviewed ways to refute common plaintiffs’ arguments related to CDL drivers and how to manage settlement values when disputing liability.

Spratlin is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group and serves as coordinator of the firm’s 24‑Hour Accident Investigation Team, Trucking Group, and Autonomous Vehicle Technology Group.
