Butler Snow Attorney Art Spratlin Speaks at CLM 2026 Annual Conference

Butler Snow attorney Arthur D. Spratlin, Jr., recently spoke at the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Annual Conference, on March 25–27, 2026, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The CLM Annual Conference is the organization’s flagship event, bringing together claims professionals, in‑house counsel, insurers, and defense attorneys from across the country to discuss emerging trends and best practices in claims and litigation management.

Spratlin’s presentation, “CDL Drivers and the Standard of Care: Debunking a Common Plaintiff Argument,” reviewed ways to refute common plaintiffs’ arguments related to CDL drivers and how to manage settlement values when disputing liability.

Spratlin is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group and serves as coordinator of the firm’s 24‑Hour Accident Investigation Team, Trucking Group, and Autonomous Vehicle Technology Group. He has been recognized by BL Rankings, The Best Lawyers in America® for Product Liability Litigation – Defendants, Transportation Law, and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants for multiple years, and was named Lawyer of the Year for Transportation Law in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2020 and 2026.

A graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy, he is nationally regarded for his experience in complex transportation and product liability litigation.

Spratlin is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Transportation Lawyer Association, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association.
