Butler Snow is pleased to announce its role as legal counsel to the North American Chassis Pool Cooperative (NACPC) in connection with its sale to ITE Management L.P., a leading alternative asset manager focused on industrial transportation and infrastructure.
The transaction expands ITE’s North American chassis platform to more than 60,000 assets and adds NACPC’s fleet of more than 20,000 chassis serving key intermodal markets across North America. The combined platform will provide customers with expanded access to premium equipment, coast-to-coast coverage and a broad range of leasing solutions.

The North American Chassis Pool Cooperative, LLC., (NACPC) a limited liability company organized pursuant to the Delaware Limited Liability Company Act, was incorporated on October 3rd, 2012. The Company was formed by a group of 12 U.S. motor carriers received approval from the U.S. Surface Transportation Board on January 22nd, 2013, to commence operations as a joint venture chassis pool cooperative. As defined by its founding members, NACPC’s mission is to establish an effective chassis supply utility that will be implemented on a national basis to support the U.S. intermodal container network with efficient chassis supplies, a modernized chassis fleet and a transparent set of economics and terms of use that will benefit all users. Cooperative membership is open to qualified motor carriers.
