Butler Snow Adds Benjamin K. Price to Public Finance Practice in Atlanta, Georgia

Butler Snow is pleased to welcome Benjamin K. Price to the firm’s Public Finance practice group in its Atlanta, Georgia, office.

Price advises clients on a range of public finance matters, including serving as bond, tax, and disclosure counsel in connection with taxable and tax-exempt municipal bond transactions. His experience includes working on municipal financings across the state of Georgia, as well as serving as bond counsel on economic development tax incentive bonds.

Price earned his B.B.A. in Accounting, magna cum laude, and his Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2024. During law school, he was awarded the merit-based Edith M. and Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Scholarship. As a member of the Appellate Law Clinic, he successfully appealed a case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He also served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law, was Guest Editor for the Texas Review of Law and Politics and served as President of the Tax Law Society.

Prior to joining Butler Snow, Price practiced in Athens, Georgia, where his work focused on public finance matters involving municipal bond issuances and related tax considerations.
