Butler Snow LLP is pleased to welcome attorney Tara J. Kelly to the firm’s Commercial Litigation group in Jacksonville, Florida. Kelly brings experience across multiple practice areas, including first party, insurance fraud, criminal defense, and personal injury.
Tara J. Kelly
Kelly is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation group and focuses her practice on personal injury, property damage and insurance fraud. Outside of private practice, she previously spent three years in the Public Defender’s Office in Manatee County and Pinellas County, Fla. In 2025, BL Rankings, The Best Lawyers in America® recognized Kelly in Ones to Watch. She also previously received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and is an active member of the Florida Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
