  • Mr. Elrod regularly represents Tennessee hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies and other providers with respect to certificate of need, licensing, certification, transactions requiring attorney general review and other matters.  Mr. Elrod represents domestic and foreign insurance companies with regard to Tennessee regulatory issues, including insurance company formations and acquisitions. His insurance practice includes the administration of the Tennessee Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association, which has distributed over $70 million to benefit Tennessee residents covered by insolvent insurance companies. Mr. Elrod is also regularly engaged to advise Tennessee farmers on land use and other regulations that affect agricultural activities.
