Butler Snow’s Orlando R. Richmond, Sr. recently had the honor of being selected as “Litigator of the Week” along with Phyllis Jones of Covington & Burling in The AmLaw Litigation Daily’s article Litigators of the Week: A Compassionate—But Effective—Product Liability Defense for his successful involvement defending Boehringer Ingelheim in product liability litigation involving its blood thinner Pradaxa. This was the second bellwether trial in this litigation in Connecticut, and following a six week trial, the jury returned a defense verdict.
