Butler Snow Adds 2 Attorneys to Memphis Office

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Leah A. Greene and Kendra Lyons Steele have joined the firm’s Memphis office. Greene and Lyons will both practice with the firm’s business services group.

“Leah and Kendra are great additions to our firm, and we are excited to welcome them to Butler Snow,” said Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “We look forward to utilizing their expertise in health care, medical and business services.”

Greene focuses her practice on healthcare transactions and regulatory matters. In addition, she advises clients on health law matters such as HIPAA, The Joint Commission, peer review, risk management, quality assurance, Stark and anti-kickback compliance, and medical-ethical issues.

Greene is a member of the Memphis Bar Association. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law and her Master of Laws in health law from the University of Houston Law Center.

Prior to joining the firm, Lyons worked in the areas of health care, labor, and employment and with business organizations focusing on health care regulations and transactions, professional liability defense and medical malpractice defense. She also served as a law clerk for the city of Memphis legal department.

Lyons received her undergraduate degree from Rhodes College, and Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she served as chief justice of the moot court board. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Contracts I and Trial Advocacy and was recognized as a 2017 Law Student for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court in recognition of her outstanding pro bono service during law school. Lyons is a member of the Memphis Bar Association and the Association for Women Attorneys.
