Pro Bono

Pro Bono

Butler Snow's pro bono program is a firm-wide commitment to the public good.

For the Public Good

Butler Snow performs pro bono legal services in litigation and non-litigation matters for individuals and non-profit organizations to directly benefit the communities where our attorneys live and work.

Our firm culture promotes collaboration to provide the exact experience each pro bono client needs. While our lawyers are encouraged to match their pro bono participation with their interests, we require and expect every pro bono matter to be performed with the same professional standards applicable for all paying client matters.

Why Pro Bono?

Attorneys from across our footprint recently sat down to discuss why pro bono work is important to them and the firm, as well as meaningful experiences they’ve had while providing legal assistance to a pro bono client.

Pro Bono Leadership

Butler Snow has a standing Pro Bono Committee and is a member of the Law Firm Pro Bono Project of the Pro Bono Institute (PBI). The firm and its attorneys have been recognized for their dedication to providing pro bono services.
