George is experienced in corporate and transactional matters with a focus on emerging technology and healthcare companies, as well as the medical and dental practice industries. George focuses his practice on healthcare regulatory and transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate development and finance. He counsels clients on corporate and capital structure issues, startups, succession planning, content management, venture funding and transactional matters. George is a member of the Business Services practice group, where he is Assistant Practice Group Leader. He is also a member of the Butler Snow Executive Committee.

George is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was named one of the Best Lawyers in America® from 2016-2021. He is a board member of the Kharis Foundation and has served as a board member of Interfaith Dental Clinic, Westminster Legacy Fund, and Presbyterian Apartments Inc. George has conducted numerous seminars in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate law.

He has conducted numerous presentations concerning the start-up, transition, and succession planning related to medical and dental practices and is the co-author of “From Dental Academics to Dental Professional: A Road Map for the Journey.” George obtained his J.D. from the University of Tennessee and is admitted to the Tennessee State Bar.
