Butler Snow attorney N. Denver Smith has been selected to serve on the DRI Young Lawyers’ Steering Committee for 2022-2023. He will serve as Vice-Chair of the Recruiting Sub-Committee.
DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. The DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee is responsible for overseeing the operations of DRI’s Young Lawyers division, a program created for lawyers in their first ten years of practice that provides several resources such as practical workshops and educational seminars.
Smith is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group. He brings a background in artificial intelligence studies and private sector security to his practice.
Smith is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Palmetto Society of Human Resources Management and Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Charleston Young Professionals organization. He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Coastal Carolina University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. During law school, Smith was a Judicial Extern for Justice Kaye Hearn of the South Carolina Supreme Court.
