Butler Snow attorney E. Righton Johnson Lewis has been invited to join the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC) as a Future Leader-Sustaining Member. PLAC is a not-for-profit association of 100 product manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and 350 select regulatory, litigation and appellate professionals who work to shape the common law of product liability, provide guidance on changing regulations, and strategically help corporations manage risk throughout the entire product lifecycle. Lewis focuses her practice on the defense of product liability and personal injury claims. She frequently defends automobile, medical device and industrial manufacturers as trial counsel.
Lewis is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute and has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Georgia Rising Star. She was also a member of the team selected as nationwide Product Liability Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation in 2018. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.
