Keishunna R. Webster Named to Mississippi Bar’s Women in the Profession Committee

Butler Snow attorney Keishunna R. Webster will serve on The Mississippi Bar’s Women in the Profession Committee for 2021-2022. Members of the committee work to assess and identify issues related to women in the profession, as well as make recommendations to the Bar for action to create solutions to problems observed by the committee. Webster is a member of the firm’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation practice group and frequently defends common carrier transportation fleets in matters involving complex personal injury, catastrophic losses and wrongful death matters. She is also experienced in defending landowners in a wide variety of premises liability cases, running the gamut from simple slip and falls to negligent security cases involving violent crimes. Webster has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Rising Star in general litigation and named to the 2019 class of Leadership in Law by the Mississippi Business Journal. She was also named a Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers.

Webster is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), The Mississippi Bar and the Capital Area Bar Association. She also serves on the ABA Litigation Section’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Webster received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Belhaven College, her master’s from Jackson State University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi.
