Floyd is part of the firm’s Products, Catastrophic & Industrial Litigation practice group in the Richmond, Virginia office. She provides expert counsel to manufacturers in high exposure product liability claims in Virginia and throughout the United States. Floyd works primarily with automobile, pharmaceutical and industrial manufacturers providing defense counsel nationally and locally. She also provides trial counsel for energy producers in mass tort litigation ranging from catastrophic loss to environmental claims.

Floyd is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the West Virginia State Bar, the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). She previously served as the West Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division President and is a member of DRI’s Products Liability Subcommittee. Floyd received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the West Virginia Law Review.
