Marshall Bowen joins Butler Snow’s Austin office, firm adds seven attorneys across four offices – Southeast Texas Record

Butler Snow attorney Marshall A. Bowen was recently mentioned in an article by the Southeast Texas Record about his joining the firm.

The following is an excerpt from the article:

AUSTIN – Marshall A. Bowen has joined Butler Snow’s Austin, Texas, office and will practice with the firm’s appellate and commercial litigation groups, in addition to governmental relations.

In addition, Marguerite McGowan Stringer and Jennifer A. Svilar have joined the firm’s Memphis, Tennessee, office; M. Alyssa Barksdale and Jin Yoshikawa have joined the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee, office; and Sammy L. Brown, Jr. and Deondrey Rashad Russell have joined the firm’s Ridgeland, Mississippi, office.

Prior to joining Butler Snow, Bowen clerked at the Supreme Court of Texas and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. He has also worked as a public affairs consultant and in public policy in the Texas Legislature. Now in private practice, Bowen applies his acute understanding of appellate and legislative procedure to assist clients with complex problems before and during all stages of litigation.
