Butler Snow attorney Christopher S. Berdy has been honored in this year’s Best of the Bar by the Birmingham Business Journal. The Best of the Bar award honors the best and brightest in Birmingham’s legal field across a range of practice industries. After being nominated, the honorees were chosen based on tangible accomplishments, contributions to the industry and status in their practice area.
Berdy is a member of Butler Snow’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare and Product Liability practice groups. He has defended a wide variety of product lines ranging from pharmaceuticals and medical devices, to consumer, commercial and industrial products and manufacturing systems. For his work, Berdy has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers® and is AV® -Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.
Berdy is a member of the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Food and Drug Law Institute and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and serves on the association’s board of directors. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law.
