Butler Snow Adds Two Attorneys to Baton Rouge Office

 and Juan J. Moreno have joined Butler Snow’s Baton Rouge office. King will practice with the firm’s tort, transportation and specialized litigation group, and Moreno will practice with the firm’s commercial litigation group.

“We are excited to welcome Madaline and Juan to Butler Snow,” said Christopher R. Maddux, chair of Butler Snow. “They are valuable additions to their respective practice groups and our growing Baton Rouge office.”

King focuses her practice primarily on casualty litigation, insurance defense, and legal and professional malpractice. She received her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Louisiana State University. In 2016, King served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Richard L. Bourgeois Jr. in the Middle District of Louisiana.

Moreno focuses his practice on general and commercial civil litigation. He received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University. Moreno previously served as a law clerk in the Office of the Legal Advisor for the Baton Rouge Police Department.
