Erin Palmer Polly Elected to Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee & the Cumberlands’ Board of Directors

Butler Snow attorney [professional id=”6063″] has been elected to the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee & the Cumberlands. Polly previously served as chair of the organization’s 2019 Campaign for Equal Justice. The organization is Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm that works to enforce, advance and defend the legal rights of low income and vulnerable families across 48 counties. Polly is a member of Butler Snow’s commercial litigation practice group and focuses her practice on commercial litigation, civil rights, professional liability and general litigation. She frequently represents companies and individuals in matters involving civil rights, professional liability claims, personal injury lawsuits and breaches of contract. Polly has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for commercial litigation and personal injury litigation – defendants, by Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Rising Star in civil litigation – defense and as a Mid-South Super Lawyer in civil litigation – defense and by Martindale-Hubbell® with an AV-Preeminent Peer Review rating. She was also named a Top 40 Under 40 and a Best of the Bar by the Nashville Business Journal and received the pro bono leadership award in 2014 from Legal Aid Society’s Volunteer Lawyers Program for her work with the organization.

Polly is a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and the Nashville Bar Foundation, and an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court and the Marion Griffin Chapter of the Lawyers’ Association for Women. She received her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Maryville College and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.
