Ann E. Lundy to Present CLE Webinar on COVID-19’s Impact on Healthcare Laws

Butler Snow attorney Ann E. Lundy will present a CLE webinar presented by the Memphis Bar Association’s Health Law Section on Friday, Aug. 21 from noon to 1 p.m. The course, titled “COVID-19: Its Sweeping Impact on Healthcare Laws,” will analyze the impact the pandemic’s effect on specific regulatory laws, as well as the delivery of healthcare, the day-to-day operational impact on providers and long-term strategy for the future. Lundy is an attorney in the firm’s Health Law practice group and serves as the group’s Assistant Practice Group Leader. She represents hospitals, health systems, physicians and ancillary services providers in regulatory, operational and transactional matters including Medicare and Medicaid payment, the Stark Law, the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, EMTALA, HIPAA privacy and security compliance, and state licensure and compliance issues.

Lundy is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management. She is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Chambers USA for Healthcare/Regulatory in Tennessee. Lundy obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
