McAnally is a member of Butler Snow’s commercial litigation group and focuses her practice on data privacy and security. She is a Co-Team Leader of the firm’s Data Security and Privacy team, and advises clients on data security protection, data breach response and cyber-risk management. McAnally is a regular contributor to Butler Snow’s commercial litigation blog, BizLitNews Blog, on data privacy and security issues. She is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation, as well as Mid-South Super Lawyers® and Mid-South Rising Stars® in business litigation. The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel named McAnally a top-rated lawyer in commercial litigation in 2013. She is also a Fellow of the American Bar Association and Vice Chair of its TIPS Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mississippi College where she was Editor-in-Chief of Law Review.
