Keenan Carter Named Trustee and Fellow of Two Organizations

Butler Snow attorney S. Keenan Carter has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Baptist Memorial Health Care System and named a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation’s (MBF) 2019 class.

As the charitable arm of the Memphis Bar Association, the MBF provides grants to assist law-related activities and projects that further the mission of promoting social justice and legal education. Attorneys and judges are nominated to become Fellows in recognition of their distinguished service to the legal profession and their adherence to the highest standards of professional ethics and conduct.

Carter is a member of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
