Tollison sworn in as president of The Mississippi Bar – Mississippi Business Journal

Amanda Jones Tollison was recently featured in an article by the Mississippi Business Journal about her recent swearing in as president of The Mississippi Bar.

The following is an excerpt from the article:

Butler Snow attorney Amanda Jones Tollison was sworn in as president of The Mississippi Bar for the 2019-2020 year. Tollison’s term began July 13.

Tollison has been an active member of The Mississippi Bar for a number of years, having served on the board of bar commissioners as second vice president and as president-elect, as president of the young lawyers division, chair of the ethics committee and The Mississippi Lawyer committee, and as a member of the bench-bar liaison committee, the Access to Justice Commission and the government law section. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Lafayette County Bar Association and a fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation.
