Charles R. Scarminach Joins Butler Snow’s Charleston, S.C. Office

Butler Snow has added Charles ​R. Scarminach to the firm’s Charleston, S.C., office. Scarminach will practice with the firm’s commercial litigation practice group.

“We are excited to welcome Chuck to our firm and continue expanding our presence in South Carolina,” said Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “His knowledge and experience will strengthen our commercial litigation practice group and help us leverage our Charleston office to better serve our clients.”

Scarminach regularly represents clients in a wide range of complex disputes in state and federal courts, including matters involving business torts, real estate disputes, product liability, complex contractual disputes and construction law. He also has expertise in general appellate litigation work.

Scarminach is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and his Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law.

Butler Snow’s commercial litigation team handles a wide array of complex disputes arising from contract and business arrangements for a broad range of businesses nationwide.
