Butler Snow is pleased to announce Luther T. Munford recently spoke at the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association’s 2019 Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar on May 31.
Luther presented a session titled “Some (Previously) Unwritten Admonitions Concerning Appellate Advocacy.”
Luther is a member of the firm’s appellate and written advocacy group, and concentrates his practice on appellate matters, media law, constitutional law, professional liability and product liability defense. He is a past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and has served on the Advisory Committee on Appellate Rules to the Judicial Conference of the United States. He is the author of Mississippi Appellate Practice (2010).
Luther received his undergraduate degrees from Princeton University and Oxford University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. He worked as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun and Fifth Circuit Judge Paul H. Roney before joining Butler Snow.
