Butler Snow is pleased to announce Kristin E. Konschnik has been appointed Corporate Counsel Forum Liaison Officer for the International Bar Association’s Taxes Committee.
The IBA’s Taxes Committee offers its members access to the highest quality technical, practical and professional tax expertise to assist in understanding and finding solutions to international tax issues and concerns. It also encourages interface between international tax specialists and promotes the building of networks among tax lawyers worldwide to assist them in better serving the interests of their clients.
Kristin practices in the firm’s London office as a member of the business services and tax groups. She focuses her practice on cross-border tax and transactional matters for both individuals and corporations. Kristin has extensive experience advising individuals and their companies on U.S. and international transactional tax matters, including cross-border sales and acquisitions, intellectual property structuring, hedge and private equity funds and tax-efficient U.S. inbound and outbound business and investments. She frequently works with founders, investors and management teams on a range of U.S. tax issues, including compensation matters in private equity buyouts and rollover matters.
Kristin is a member of the International, American, New York and Connecticut Bar Associations. She was named to Citywealth and Powerwomen’s leaders lists and has been recognized by Chambers Global as a foreign expert. Kristin received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.
