2 Butler Snow Attorneys Listed in Birmingham Business Journal’s 2018 Rising Stars for Law

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that David R. Kinman and Sarah E. Hoffmann have been listed in Birmingham Business Journal’s 2018 Rising Stars for Law.

Birmingham’s Rising Stars of Law highlight up-and-coming lawyers in the Birmingham metro area under the age of 40. Honorees were chosen based on their contributions to their firms, involvement in their communities and potential to shape the industry and the Birmingham legal community for the future.

Kinman is a member of Butler Snow’s finance and real estate group and business services group. He focuses his practice on financial services, business and commercial transactions, real estate law, commercial lending and mergers and acquisitions. Kinman has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for commercial finance law, by Chambers USA for banking and finance and is AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.

Kinman is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina.

Hoffmann is a member of Butler Snow’s business services group and focuses her practice on tax law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Hoffmann received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University, her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and her Master of Laws in taxation from the University of Alabama.
