We are pleased to announce that Terrence M. McKelvey has joined our Nashville, Tenn. office. Terrence will practice in our commercial litigation group.
Terrence joins Butler Snow after spending three years practicing law in Charlotte, North Carolina. He previously served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Joe B. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee during law school, and as a paralegal primarily handling bankruptcy cases for a full-service business law firm in New York prior to law school.
Terrence is admitted to practice in North Carolina, the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Terrence received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University, where he served as notes editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. He was also a Chancellor’s Scholar and earned scholastic excellence awards in Torts and Bankruptcy.
