Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Christopher L. McLemore has received the bronze award for Lawyer of the Year – Partner in the third annual Future Leaders Awards by Citywealth magazine.
Citywealth uses its program to champion young professionals in the wealth sector and spotlight the leaders under 40 of today and tomorrow. McLemore received his award on Nov. 1 in London.
Following a submission process, the awards are judged by a panel of wealth management professionals in the private wealth management sector. Online public voting opens once the shortlist is announced to garner support from peers and raise the profile of the participants.
The Lawyer of the Year – Partner award selection process has seven key criteria:

Citywealth is a private wealth management publication featuring annual financial awards, power women, networking clubs and training seminars. The Future Leaders Awards originated in 2015 in order to champion professionals under 40 in all facets of the private wealth industry – investment management, law, trust and private banking sector in the U.K. The contest’s philosophy is to recognize and support future leaders who are outstanding at their work and also make a meaningful contribution to society. Submissions are judged by a panel of wealth management professionals in the private sector.
McLemore advises clients on domestic and international tax planning for individuals, trusts and estates. His practice areas include wealth transfer planning, tax and estates and trusts. He is a member of the American Bar Association as well as the New York State Bar Association. McLemore earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his master’s in public policy analysis from the University of Denver. He received his Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, cum laude in 2007.
