Caitlyn Smith Burchfield Named to Rotaract Club of Birmingham’s 2017-2018 Leadership Development Program Class

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Caitlyn Smith Burchfield has been named to the Rotaract Club of Birmingham’s 2017 – 2018 Leadership Development program.

Burchfield and 16 other Rotaractors were selected to participate in a nine-month program where they will engage with and learn from a variety of established leaders in the community. The new class of Rotaractors will work on increasing their leadership skills in an interpersonal environment.

Founded in 2004, the Rotaract Club of Birmingham is comprised of young professionals who are deeply committed to playing a key role in serving communities locally, nationally, and internationally. It is one of more than 8,800 clubs worldwide, and has more than 300 total members. Meetings are held at the Harbert Center in downtown Birmingham.

Burchfield practices in the areas of public finance, tax credits, and real estate development and finance. She is a member of the American Bar Association, National Association of Bond Lawyers, Birmingham Bar Association, and Birmingham Bar. Burchfield is admitted to practice in the state courts of Alabama and Mississippi; U.S. District Courts of Alabama: Northern, Middle, and Southern; U.S. Districts Courts of Mississippi: Northern and Southern; and the U.S. Court of Appeals: Fifth Circuit. Burchfield is a native of Columbus, Mississippi, and received both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama.
