Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Arthur S. Richey has been named to the Leadership Memphis executive class of 2018. The program is dedicated to equipping individuals to have a positive, practical impact in the community.
Leadership Memphis is the premier community leadership organization in Memphis. Founded in 1979, the organization has graduated more than 2,200 community leaders and continues to be a ground-breaking innovator with new programs and action initiatives that drive educational achievement, diversity and inclusivity and collective impact.
This program is suited for experienced leaders who are ready to make a more effective difference in the community. Leadership Memphis brings together smart cross-sector leaders from business, nonprofit, academics, government, faith, neighborhoods, the arts, and professionals. Participants co-create the class experience by sharing their perspectives and knowledge, forging relationships with other leaders who care about the same things, and applying what they learn and what they know to guide students in a Shelby County school.
Richey is a member of the health care regulatory and transactions group and focuses his practice on health care law, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance counsel and advice, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, Memphis Bar Association, and Tennessee Bar Association. Richey is admitted to practice in Alabama and Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama. In 2008, Richey was selected as a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
