NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 15, 2017 – Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Erin Palmer Polly has been named president-elect of the Nashville Bar Association. Erin’s term as president will begin in 2018.
Erin was honored for her new position at the Nashville Bar Association’s annual meeting and banquet, held Dec. 8 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The Nashville Bar Association, established in 1831, is a professional organization serving the legal community of Nashville. The NBA maintains more than 2,500 members, and is the largest metropolitan bar association in Tennessee.

Erin concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, civil rights, professional liability and general litigation. She has been recognized for her work in litigation as an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and as a Mid-South Super Lawyers® Rising Star. Erin was named Best of the Bar by the Nashville Business Journal in 2016 and is a Nashville Bar Foundation fellow. She received the volunteer lawyers program pro bono leadership award from the Legal Aid Society in 2014 and the young lawyers division enterprise award from the Nashville Bar Association in 2007.
Erin is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, Harry Phillips American Inn of Court, Lawyers’ Association for Women and the Tennessee Lawyer’s Fund for Client Protection. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee, the U.S. District Courts of Tennessee: eastern, middle and western and the U.S. Court of Appeals 6th circuit. Erin received her undergraduate degree from Maryville College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee.
