He has tried over 100 cases to verdict in both North Carolina and Federal Courts, and regularly handles appeals before the North Carolina Appellate Courts and the United States 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. He was recognized as one of Business North Carolina magazine’s Legal Elite and named in The Best Lawyers in America®for commercial litigation, insurance law, medical malpractice law and personal injury litigation.
Lewis is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, New Hanover County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Community Associations Institute and Homeowner Associations of North Carolina. Lewis received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
Lawrence’s practice experience includes civil litigation, community association law and long term care practice. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and New Hanover County Bar Association. Carter is admitted to practice in North Carolina and United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Juris Doctor from Elon University.
