Butler Snow is pleased to announce that attorneys Jenny Kiesewetter, and Marianne C. Garner along with benefits compliance advisor Jamie Red have joined the firm’s Business Services Group.

Kiesewetter focuses her practice on employee benefits, employee welfare benefits, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) matters, executive compensation, healthcare compliance and regulatory matters, and corporate law. She has been named in The Best Lawyers in America® for Litigation – ERISA in 2013, was a member of the Leadership Memphis Executive Class in 2013 and was named in Memphis Minority Business Magazine’s “Women to Watch” list in 2009. Kiesewetter earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a master of science in communication, as well as her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee. There, she was the recipient of the Charles Hamilton Miller Legal Clinic Award for Excellency in Civil Advocacy, and the Hunton and Williams Outstanding Writing Award for appellate briefs. Kiesewetter is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the Association for Women Attorneys and the Turnaround Management Association.
Clendenen focuses her practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and employee benefits. She has extensive experience in all aspects of employee benefits and ERISA, including plan design and implementation, plan administration, fiduciary responsibilities and duties and compliance. Clendenen completed her undergraduate degree at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
Red joins Butler Snow as a non-attorney benefits compliance advisor. She is experienced in employee benefits, healthcare regulatory compliance, corporate and transactional law, insurance and medical malpractice defense, family law, products liability litigation, personal injury litigation, FDIC regulatory litigation and fraud investigation.
