Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC’s (Butler Snow) product liability practice has been nominated for the 2013 Chambers USA Awards for Excellence in team nominations.  The awards honor outstanding firms on the basis of research conducted for Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.  The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 23, 2013 in New York City.

“We’re proud of the recognition our product liability team has received,” said Donald Clark, Jr., Chairman, Butler Snow.  “This is a prestigious honor and shows the talent and dedication of our product liability attorneys.”

These awards reflect a law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas and notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

Butler Snow has a long history of strongly defending product liability claims both regionally and nationally.  The firm’s product liability practice group defends cases across the nation for a wide variety of products including asbestos, firearms, agricultural, chemical, mechanical, recreational, automotive, and medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

“We’re honored to have received this recognition,” said Meade W. Mitchell, Product Liability Practice Group Leader.  “We represent clients in many different industries and work hard to understand their business and legal concerns.

In addition to this honor, Butler Snow was recognized earlier in the year as the Product Liability Firm of the Year for the Southern Region for 2012 by Benchmark Litigation.
