Butler Snow Hosts WIFI Seminar: Workplace Issues for Financial Institutions

Butler Snow's Labor and Employment Group has formed a practice team to assist financial institutions in Mississippi and Tennessee with employment issues, similiar to the way in which we have helped banks with compliance issues.

Butler Snow has worked with banks for over 50 years and has learned that challenges faced by one bank are typically shared by many.  Laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Amercians with Disabilities Act challenge employers each day. Our employment lawyers recognize the time and effort required to stay abreast of these issues and have found that pooling the resources of different entities within an industry can often make compliance more feasable.

With this is mind, Butler Snow has formed Workplace Issues for Financial Institutions ("WIFI").  As part of membership, members of WIFI will receive newsletters of interest to financial institutions.  Members will also be invited to attend two seminars each year in which topics of interest to the members will be addressed.  In addition, members will have the opportunity to interact and learn from others' experiences.
