Van Horn, Tennessee Bar To Present CLE Opportunity

Butler Snow Attorney Danny Van Horn, serving as Program Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association, will present a 3-hour CLE seminar "Unfair Competition/Business Torts" in seven Tennessee cities in the coming weeks:  Memphis (Nov. 14), Jackson (Nov. 26), Clarksville (Nov. 29), Nashville (Nov. 30), Chattanooga (Dec. 5), Knoxville (Dec. 6) and Johnson City (Dec. 7).

The first hour will cover Tennessee law regarding covenants not-to-compete, and the second hour will focus on the prima facie elements needed to establish tortuous interference with contract and compare those to tortuous interference with business relations.  The final hour is the ethics component that will deal with special issues in joint representation, including advance waivers and the common interest privilege.
