Women in Government Day - Honoring Mississippi's Women in Public Service

  • The Public Law and Finance attorneys of Butler Snow will host the 2nd annual Women in Government Day honoring Mississippi's women in public service on Friday, November 9, 2007, 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. at The Hilton Jackson, in Jackson, Mississippi. If you are a woman in public service, a very special day is planned just for you. Mayor Rosemary Aultman, City of Clinton, will share her experience as a public official. Choose from informative breakout sessions including topics such as Seizing Life with Healthy Body and Mind from Baptist Healthcare Systems, Mississippi Ethics in Government Law, Your Cup of Tea, and Practical Make-up Tips from Bobbie Brown. This special day includes a shopping trip to Mistletoe Marketplace to kick off the holiday season.

Bob Frey A Featured Author in The Mississippi Lawyer

Butler Snow Attorney Robert M. Frey was featured recently in The Mississippi Lawyer, a publication of the Mississippi Bar.  His article, titled Improper Closing Argument in Civil Trial: A Trial Notebook Summary of Mississippi Case Law can be downloaded by clicking here.  Frey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance sales practices, claims-handling and coverage, commercial dispute resolution and litigation, and federal jurisdiction.
