Memphis Minority Business Magazine Names Butler Snow's Carlyle White

Memphis - Carlyle C. White, an associate in the Memphis office of Butler Snow, was named one of Memphis' Most Influential Black Attorneys in the April/May 2009 edition of Memphis Minority Business Magazine

White, a member of the firm's Labor and Employment Group, focuses his practice in the areas of employment litigation and traditional labor law.  A 2008 cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, White is active in local bar associations, the National Bar Association and Phi Delta Phi, an international legal fraternity.

Bob Frey A Featured Author in The Mississippi Lawyer

Butler Snow Attorney Robert M. Frey was featured recently in The Mississippi Lawyer, a publication of the Mississippi Bar.  His article, titled Improper Closing Argument in Civil Trial: A Trial Notebook Summary of Mississippi Case Law can be downloaded by clicking here.  Frey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance sales practices, claims-handling and coverage, commercial dispute resolution and litigation, and federal jurisdiction.


Nealey Contributes to MDLA Quarterly

Butler Snow Attorney LeAnn W. Nealey recently authored an article for the MDLA Quarterly, a publication of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA), titled "Preserving Summary Judgment Based on the Exclusion of Expert Testimony."  Nealey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where she focuses her practice on appellate advocacy, product liability and environmental law.
