Law360 Ranks Butler Snow as One of the Top Ten Busiest Product Liability Practices

Law360, the only legal news source to cover the entire spectrum of practice areas every business day, has ranked Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens and Cannada, PLLC, as one of the Top Ten Busiest Product Liability Practices in its Law360 2009 Litigation Almanac.

Rankings were determined by number of non-asbestos-related cases for which the firms were retained as counsel over a recent one-year period.

“We are proud to see our Product Liability group ranked among some of the largest firms on a national and international scale,” said Don Clark, Chair of Butler Snow. “This recognition is well deserved. Our Product Liability group has worked extremely hard to build its practice and because of its dedication, it has been able to expand its presence across the U.S.”

Other firms included on the list were Tucker Ellis, Shook Hardy, Venable, Hughes Hubbard, Jackson Kelly, Reed Smith, Fulbright & Jaworski, Nelson Mullins and DLA Piper.

The Law360 2009 Litigation Almanac offers an exhaustive analysis of business litigation trends in United States federal courts, with a detailed look at practice area size and number of cases filed in the last two years at more than 360 law firms.
