Butler Snow’s Eric Hudson Recognized by ABA for Work as Subcommittee Chair

Memphis – The Litigation Section of the American Bar Association recognized Eric Hudson, an attorney in the Memphis office of Butler Snow, as an outstanding subcommittee chair during the organization’s annual meeting in Washington, DC.  Hudson received this honor during the Keynote Luncheon at the group’s annual meeting on Capitol Hill.  FBI Director Robert Mueller delivered the keynote address.

Hudson received the award for his work on behalf of the Section of Litigation's Mass Torts Committee.  Hudson currently co-chairs the Toxic Torts Subcommittee.  At Butler Snow, Hudson focuses his practice on mass torts, chemical exposure, products liability, and commercial litigation, and is a frequent speaker on those topics.

Hudson is a magna cum laude graduate of the Vermont Law School, where he was head notes editor of the Vermont Law Review.   He earned a B.S. in biology at Vanderbilt University and an M.A. in Biology at the University of South Florida.

Bob Frey A Featured Author in The Mississippi Lawyer

Butler Snow Attorney Robert M. Frey was featured recently in The Mississippi Lawyer, a publication of the Mississippi Bar.  His article, titled Improper Closing Argument in Civil Trial: A Trial Notebook Summary of Mississippi Case Law can be downloaded by clicking here.  Frey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance sales practices, claims-handling and coverage, commercial dispute resolution and litigation, and federal jurisdiction.


Nealey Contributes to MDLA Quarterly

Butler Snow Attorney LeAnn W. Nealey recently authored an article for the MDLA Quarterly, a publication of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA), titled "Preserving Summary Judgment Based on the Exclusion of Expert Testimony."  Nealey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where she focuses her practice on appellate advocacy, product liability and environmental law.
