Butler Snow Selected to Conduct ABA Intellectual Property Continuing Education Program
The Intellectual Property Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation selected Butler Snow to conduct the organization’s April Continuing Education Roundtable in the Mid-South region. Participating attorneys will earn one Continuing Legal Education credit for participation in the April 15 event.
The topic will be “The Attorney-Client Privilege – Navigating Recent Decisions and How They Affect Your Technology Company.” Craig A. Grossman, head of the Intellectual Property practice area at Butler Snow, will lead the program.
In addition to experience as a practicing attorney, Grossman brings a client side perspective, having served as President and CEO of a technology firm. A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, he is widely published on topics related to intellectual property and technology law.

Bob Frey A Featured Author in The Mississippi Lawyer
Butler Snow Attorney Robert M. Frey was featured recently in The Mississippi Lawyer, a publication of the Mississippi Bar. His article, titled Improper Closing Argument in Civil Trial: A Trial Notebook Summary of Mississippi Case Law can be downloaded by clicking here. Frey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance sales practices, claims-handling and coverage, commercial dispute resolution and litigation, and federal jurisdiction.
Nealey Contributes to MDLA Quarterly
Butler Snow Attorney LeAnn W. Nealey recently authored an article for the MDLA Quarterly, a publication of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA), titled "Preserving Summary Judgment Based on the Exclusion of Expert Testimony." Nealey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where she focuses her practice on appellate advocacy, product liability and environmental law.
