Christy Jones of Butler Snow among finalists for Chambers Awards for Excellence in product liability

JACKSON, MS (June 25, 2007) Christy D. Jones of Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC is one of the seven top product liability attorneys in the country, according to Chambers USA. Jones was among the finalists for the Chambers Awards for Excellence 2007, awarded for outstanding individual achievement in the profession.

Jones, chair of the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Department, was among 500 other top attorneys honored at a recent awards dinner. The gala affair to acknowledge “the cream of the profession” was held at Cipriani in New York.

Chambers bases its awards and rankings on extensive interviews with clients and attorneys. Jones is also recognized in Chambers USA 2007 for national leadership in Product Liability.

Bob Frey A Featured Author in The Mississippi Lawyer

Butler Snow Attorney Robert M. Butler Snow Attorney LeAnn W. Nealey recently authored an article for the MDLA Quarterly, a publication of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA), titled "Preserving Summary Judgment Based on the Exclusion of Expert Testimony."  Nealey is a member of the firm's Appellate and Written Advocacy Group where she focuses her practice on appellate advocacy, product liability and environmental law.
