Taylor Joins Butler Snow’s Birmingham Office

Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC, announced today that Katherine L. (Katie) Taylor has joined the firm. Located in Butler Snow’s Birmingham office, Taylor is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Groupwhere she focuses on insurance defense. 

“Katie’s experience will strengthen our dedicated team of legal professionals,” said Donald Clark Jr., Chairman, Butler Snow. “Butler Snow is pleased to welcome her to our firm.” 

Taylor serves as a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. She also serves on the Grievance Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association and as president (elect) of its Young Lawyers Division. Currently a volunteer with the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyer’s Program, Taylor is also a Cornerstone Schools of Alabama Junior Board Member.  

Taylor was a member of the Birmingham Bar Association’s “Future Leadership Forum” Class of 2010 as well as the University of Alabama, Birmingham’s Leadership Council Class of 2010.  

She received a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, where she served as assistant justice on the Moot Court Board, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Georgia.
