Renowned chef, author, and restaurateur Robert St. John and celebrated watercolor artist Wyatt Waters have returned from a 10-week stir in Italy where they began the in-depth work and research for their third collaborative book project, An Italian Palate. Traveling together, Waters completed 129 paintings while St. John ate, cooked and worked his way through the country - from the southernmost tip of Sicily to the Italian Alps. The book won't be released until the Fall of 2013 but you can get a private sneak preview with the chef and the artist! Join the duo, who became known as "The man who eats" and "The man who paints: by the locals in the Tuscan village, for an Italian-flavored evening - set against the backdrop of Butler Snow's own eclectic art collection, which includes major works by Dusti Bonge', Glennray Tutor, Marshall Bouldin, William Eggleston, and Bill Dunlap, among others. St. John offers for auction a 5-Course Chef's Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing at his Purple Parrot Cafe. Waters offers a creation of his own.
