Butler Snow Attorney Christopher S. Berdy of Birmingham Named IADC Chair

Butler Snow is pleased to announce attorney [professional id=”2339″] has been named chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Continuing Legal Education Committee.

Berdy is a member of the firm’s pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare industry, where he focuses his practice on drug and medical device, product liability and personal injury defense and complex business disputes.

Berdy is a longtime member of the IADC. He most recently served a two-year tenure on the CLE committee, which is responsible for vetting, selecting and overseeing implementation of the CLE programs developed by the IADC. He also chairs the IADC’s Alabama state membership committee and was co-chair of the IADC and Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel Joint Law Firm Management Conference in 2013.

Berdy earned his undergraduate education at Washington and Lee University before earning his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law. He is an AV-Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.In addition to being a member of the IADC, he is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Birmingham Crippled Children’s Foundation and the Rotary Club of Birmingham.
