Butler Snow is pleased to announce that seven of its attorneys have been recognized by Benchmark Litigation, a leading national law publication. Christy D. Jones was named a National Product Liability Star and also a State Litigation Star for Mississippi. Gayle Malone, Jr. (Tennessee), Robert J. Walker (Tennessee), John C. Henegan (Mississippi), Orlando R. Richmond, Sr.(Mississippi) and E. Barney Robinson, III (Mississippi) have been named State Litigation Stars and Kari L. Sutherland has been named a Future Star.

National Litigation Star rankings are awarded to the top litigators in the nation as recommended by numerous clients and peers for being reputable and effective litigators.

State Litigation Star awards are distributed to local litigators, also commended by clients and peers for being reputable and effective litigators. Future Star awards are given to individuals who are likely to become state litigation stars in the future, and have been regularly complimented by peers and clients.

“We are very proud of the recognition our attorneys have received from Benchmark Litigation,” said Donald Clark, Jr. chairman, Butler Snow. “These awards showcase the high quality work and excellent client service that all of our attorneys strive to provide our clients.”

Benchmark Litigation’s awards are the result of a thorough, six-month research period. Throughout this time, researchers conduct extensive interviews with litigators and their clients to identify the leading attorneys and firms. In addition, researchers examine recent casework handled by law firms and ask sources to offer their professional opinions on litigators practicing within their state or national areas. Firms cannot pay to be recommended for the guide. Instead, firms have been independently offered the opportunity for listing.
