Butler Snow attorney Tray Hairston has been named to the Executive Committee of the Business Section of the Mississippi Bar. The Business Section encompasses attorneys who practice in the areas of transactional law, regulatory law, financial law (including banking, savings and loan, and credit unions), corporate law and commercial law.
The Section strives to maintain a tradition of excellence in programs and publications for its members. They publish several newsletters, host an annual seminar on Mississippi legislative changes to business laws, an annual legal ethics seminar, and award scholarships to outstanding business law students at both the University of Mississippi School of Law and the Mississippi College School of Law.
Hairston will serve as editor of the Business Law Reporter, the Section’s quarterly publication.
