Ashley Wicks Named to Community Foundation of Greater Jackson Board of Trustees

Butler Snow attorney Ashley N. Wicks was recently named to the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of Greater Jackson.  The nonprofit organization helps charitable donors establish permanent giving funds and local nonprofit partners by managing and growing their endowments.

Wicks focuses her practice on public finance and local taxation, tax credits and tax.  She completed her undergraduate education and Masters of Public Accounting at Jackson State University before going on to earn a Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama.

Wicks, who is also a Certified Public Accountant, is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and has been named a Mid-South Super Lawyers® Rising Star in Tax every year since 2012.   She is a member of and has held various leadership positions within the American Bar Association, Capital Area Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, Magnolia Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Civically, Wicks is a member of the Junior League of Jackson and serves on the Grant Investment Committee of the United Way.
