Christy D. Jones, attorney at Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC, is the recipient of the Mississippi Bar Foundation’s 2012 Professionalism Award. Jones was selected by the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Bar Foundation in recognition of her lifelong commitment to the highest standards of the legal profession.

The award was presented at the Mississippi Bar Foundation’s 2012 Annual Dinner Meeting and Fellows Induction Ceremony on April 12, 2012. The Mississippi Bar Foundation’s Professionalism Award is the Foundation’s highest honor presented to an attorney for excellence in enhancing the public’s understanding of the law and the legal system and who exemplifies the best characteristics of the profession.
Jones legal career spans over thirty years and she currently serves as the Chair of Butler Snow’s Litigation Department. She also Co-Chairs Butler Snow’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Industry Group. An AV-rated attorney, Jones is a Regent and Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and is a Fellow of the American Bar and Mississippi Bar Association.
